PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bath water heater capable of increasing a temperature of bathtub water without performing a heating operation in a burner part.SOLUTION: When there is tapping requirement for high temperature hot water, during heat insulation standby time of a heat insulation operation, and it is determined that high temperature hot water of 60°C or higher exists in a hot water supply heat exchanger 9 and also a necessary hot water supply amount to a bathtub 20 is 5 L, a hot water supply valve 28 is opened and the hot water supply operation to the bathtub 20 is started. When the temperature detected by a bath temperature sensor 25 has become 50°C or lower, or when the hot water supply amount to the bathtub 20 has become 5 L or greater, the hot water supply valve 28 is closed and the hot water supply operation is finished. Thus, the bathtub water temperature of the bathtub 20 can be increased by using the high temperature hot water in the hot water supply heat exchanger 9 or in a hot water tapping pipe 17 without executing a heating operation in a burner part 6, so that consumption of a fuel can be reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
