PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core piece for a reactor that has superior bondability to a resin mold part.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a core piece for a reactor that is composed of a dust compact formed by compacting raw material powder including soft magnetic powder under pressure, and serves as a part of a magnetic core arranged inside and outside a coil that the reactor comprises, and includes a plurality of shallow-bottom grooves extending in parallel with each other on at least one surface of the dust compact. The core piece for the reactor is such that when a resin mold part is formed on a surface thereof, the resin mold part can enter a shallow-bottom groove. Consequently, the core piece for the reactor and the resin mold part have larger contact area than before, and the core piece for the reactor has superior bondability to the resin mold part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
