PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card chute capable of reducing manufacturing costs of a card chute, and capable of shortening time required for reading an identification code, and to provide a playing card used for the card chute and an identification method of the playing card.SOLUTION: An identification code 52 includes blocks 52a-52j (called first to tenth blocks 52a-52h), and one or a plurality of blocks 52x disposed between a fifth block 52e and a sixth block 52f. The respective blocks 52a-52j and the block 52x include a first area and a second area, respectively. The first and the second areas are rectangular areas for dividing the respective blocks 52a-52j and the block 52x into two with the center in a short-side direction of the respective blocks 52a-52j and the block 52x as a boundary.
