PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device having high performance, and a control program thereof.SOLUTION: An image processing device sequentially inputs image data for a unit of a line, by using an input image processing unit 21, then divides band data BD formed of line data of a predetermined number of pieces of image data which have been input, thereby acquires each of plural pieces of block data BK. The image processing device performs compression processing in parallel with each of the plural pieces of block data BK using compression expandors, then, performs expansion processing in parallel with each of plural pieces of compression data CP obtained by the compression processing using the compression expandors, for creating each of the plural pieces of block data BK. The number of the compression expandors used for compression processing and expansion processing of first partial data input first, is larger than the number of the compression expandors used for compression processing of second partial data input later and is larger than the number of the compression expandor used for expansion processing of the second partial data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
