<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply high-frequency signals outputted from a superposition circuit added to a laser diode after removing higher harmonic signals contained therein. <P>SOLUTION: The drive circuit for a semiconductor laser is composed of a superposition circuit 10 for generating high-frequency signals, a laser diode 17 emitting a laser ray, a bias circuit B which feeds a bias voltage to the laser diode 17, and a π filter circuit 21 connected between the superposition circuit 10 and the laser diode 17. A bias voltage supplied from the bias circuit is superimposed on high-frequency signals outputted from the superposition circuit, and the high-frequency signals where the bias voltage is superimposed are fed to the laser diode through the π filter circuit 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
