PURPOSE: A system and a method for providing lottery and statistics service based on an origination position of a mobile terminal are provided to hold a lottery for gifts for participants positioned in a certain area and inform them of a lottery result on a real time basis. CONSTITUTION: A user of a terminal requests call connection to a phone number presented for providing gifts(S2), a corresponding call connection request message is transferred to an MSC(Mobile Switching Center). The MSC delivers the message to an SCP(Service Control Point)(S4). The SCP collects a number of the MSC(S6) and then sets a voice channel between the terminal and an AIP(Advanced Intelligent Peripheral)(S8). The SCP checks whether payment information on an admission ticket of a stadium(S10). If information that admission ticket has been paid is stored, the SCP sets a valid parameter as '1'(S12). The SCP generates a URL by adding a service number, the MSC number, the valid parameter value thereto, and transfers it to the AIP(S14). The AIP delivers the URL to a VXML AS(Application Server) to page a VXML page corresponding to the URL(S16). The VXML AS determines whether the origination MSC number exists in a service code table(S17). When there is the MSC number, the VXML AS extracts a service code according to the origination MSC number, a question number according to the service code, and question information, example information and answer information, dynamically generates a VXML page, and transfers it to the AIP(S18). The AIP converts the VXML page into a voice signal and outputs a voice message according to setting of questions to the terminal(S22). When certain digits are transmitted from the terminal, the AIP collects a number corresponding to the digits and transfers it to the VXML AS(S24). The VXML AS compares the number and the answer to the question. If the number is identical to the answer, winning of a prize is checked(S28) and a corresponding voice message is outputted to the terminal(S30). |
