A method includes receiving sensor data from one or more combustor cans (21) of a turbomachine (10), wherein the received sensor data includes a plurality of frequency signal amplitudes over a sample period, the one or more combustor cans (21) disposed downstream of a compressor (32) of the turbomachine (10), and the compressor (32) includes a compressor stage (34) with a plurality of blades disposed about the compressor stage (34). The process then identifies first harmonic frequencies of a first blade pass frequency of the plurality of compressor blades from the received sensor data, wherein the first blade pass frequency is based at least in part on a first quantity of the plurality of blades disposed about the compressor stage (34) and a rotational speed of the compressor stage (34). The process then determines whether one or more of the plurality of frequency signal amplitudes corresponding to the identified first harmonic frequencies exceeds a first threshold value. |
