Next, a high voltage is applied across the cathod 6 and anode 5 of a rotary anode X-ray tube 1 from an X-ray tube boltage energizing power supply 4, and X-rays with the preset X-ray tube voltage and X-ray tube current are exposed. At this time, when a discharge occurs in the X-ray tube or a circuit system, an abnormal voltage of tens KV occurs across coil wires of the stator 2, but if the operating voltage of a surge absorbing element 7 is made sufficiently lower than the withstand voltage value of the stator coil, the stator coil can be prevented from being applied with an abnormal voltage. 8 is an X-ray tube device. |
