PURPOSE:To improve both evaporation cooling property and dielectric strength by housing both internal and external circumferences of each winding of low and high voltage windings wound around the core in a cylindrical insulating vessel, forming protrusions at the area facing to each winding and by housing the evaporative coolant within the cylindrical insulating vessel. CONSTITUTION:A low voltage winding 3 and a high voltage winding 4 are wound to a core 2 from the internal diameter side on the same axis with the specified interval, and both internal and external diameter sides of the low voltage winding 3 and high voltage winding 4 are respectively housed within the cylindrical insulating vessels 20a, 20b and 20a, 20b. Protrusions 21b are provided at the internal circumference facing to the windings 3, 4 of the cylindrical insulating vessels 20b, 20b. An evaporative coolant 9 such as flon fluorocarbon is accommodated within these cylindrical insulating vessels 20a, 20b and when line temperature rises up to the boiling point of the coolant, the evaporative coolant 9 is evaporated and moves towards a tank 1 as the vapor. This vapor is converted to the dropping liquid through a heat exchanger 8 and is stored in the lower part of tank 1. |
