PURPOSE:To protect external leads, markings and so forth from damage by a method wherein markings marked on semiconductor devices are exposed at a predeterined position of a container which contains a plurality of the semiconductor devices continuously and an aperture through which the exposed parts and the corner of the other container do not touch each other is provided. CONSTITUTION:Under the state that PLCC's 2 are contained in a semiconductor device container 1, markings 2C are exposed and an aperture 1B which is extended along the direction of continuous containing is provided. The aperture 1B has an aperture width L with which the parts of the PLCC's where marks 2C are marked and the corner of the other semiconductor device container 1a do not touch each other through the aperture 1B. Moreover, recessed parts 1C is formed in the inner wall of the container 1 where the aperture 1B is formed so as not to make the inner wall touoh the parts of the PLCC's where marks 2C are marked. With this constitution, damage on external leads 2B caused by external force of the container 1 and damage on the markings 2C caused by external force and slippage of the container 1 can be avoided.
