PURPOSE:To efficiently execute a filing by retrieving whether or not an inputted word exists at a dictionary part and when it does not exist at the dictionary part, informing an external part, in the spelling verifier at the document processing corresponding to a multilingual. CONSTITUTION:An operator sets either of codes 5a-7a classified by nations by an input device 2 and stores it to a setting code 4a. It is checked whether or not the designating language stored in the setting code 4a exists at the language stored into a code storing area classified by nations, namely, the language is actually loaded. At the time of the language where the dictionary part exists, the operator inputs the document from the input device. Then, it is judged whether or not the input word exists at the dictionary part and when the word does not exist, the effect is informed to the operator.
