PURPOSE: To transfer an image on a photosensitive material by forming an original image on a carrier and transmitting radiant energy whose level is specified on the surface of a photosensitive material through the carrier. CONSTITUTION: The reduced image of an original 22 is projected on the part of a film piece 26 at a photosensitive part 46, and the image of the original 22 is developed on the film piece 26 at an exposure part 48, and a visible intermediate image is formed on the film piece. The enlarged image of the intermediate image on the film piece is projected on the board 24 of the photosensitive material at a transfer part 50. At this time, ultraviolet rays have the energy level of at least 500erg per cm<2> on the surface of the photosensitive material so that photochemical reaction is performed in the photosensitive material. Thus, the image can be transferred on the photosensitive material 24 from the original 22 by using the carrier 26. |
