PURPOSE:To prevent the rupture of decorative cloth by preliminarily subjecting a trim molded into an almost flat plate shape by extrusion molding to bending processing before bonding the decorative cloth and forming the cross-section thereof into an almost inverted U-shape and subsequently applying an adhesive to the trim at a predetermined position to bond the decorative cloth to said trim. CONSTITUTION:A trim main body 2 having a flat plate-shaped cross-section is formed by extrusion molding using an extruder 4 having an insert 2a drawn therein in a trim body molding process I. In a vulcanization process II, the trim main body 2 having the flat plate shape is vulcanized in a vulcanization tank 5 and cooled in a cooling tank 6. In a bending process III, the trim main body 2 having an inverted U-shape cross-section is formed by a bonding processing machine 7. In an adhesive coating process IV, a primer P is applied to the predetermined region of the trim main body 2 by a primer coating machine 8 and cooled in an air cooling tank 9 and, thereafter, an adhesive B is applied to the trim main body 2 by an adhesive coating apparatus 10 to be dried in a drying oven 11. In a cloth lining process V, decorative cloth 3 is bonded to the surface of the trim main body 2 by a cloth lining apparatus 12 and the trim main body 2 is passed through a curing oven 13 to make the bonding state of the decorative cloth 3 perfect. |
