PURPOSE:To provide a document proofreading supporting device which investigates the possibility of an error to a compound word included in a sentence as a processing object and prompts a user to watch the possibility of error when it is high. CONSTITUTION:The feature of the device is providing a sentence storing means 1 storing an inputted sentence, a compound word storing means 3 storing compound word information detected from the sentence storing means 1 and a compound word detection means 2 detecting the compound word from the sentence stored in the sentence storing means 1 and registering the notation of the compound word and its position in the sentence storing means 1 into the compound word storing means 3 by setting the reading of the compound word to be a key. It is also the feature of the device to furthermore provide a compound word dictionary 5 registering the reading of the compound word and its notation. |
