<p>PURPOSE:To provide a constant motion to an object to be inspected, to pass the object to be inspected through a detection unit repeatedly, and to improve operativity without increasing the costs. CONSTITUTION:In a metal detector provided with a conveying means having a conveying path 11a conveying an object to be inspected, into which a metallic foreign matter may be mixed, and a metal detecting means having a detection part 24, which is arranged in the middle of the conveying path 11a and magnetically detects whether a metallic foreign matter is mixed in the object, to be inspected or not, the conveying path 11a is formed into a circular ring and is formed of non-magnetic material. In this way, the object to be inspected performs circular motion along the circular ring conveying path 11a, so that the object to be inspected can be passed through a search frame repeatedly. Therefore, a user can put the object to be inspected on the conveying path or correct its posture or inclination while remaining in one position in the middle of the conveying path, so that the user can repeat inspection for completing the inspection by himself.</p> |
