PURPOSE:To obtain an oscillation gyro having a thin overall thickness including the thickness of a circuit board in which the rotational angular speed can be detected with the sensitivity being restricted scarcely by the circuit board. CONSTITUTION:The oscillation gyro 10 comprises an oscillator 12 which comprises a right triangle pole oscillator 14, for example. The oscillator 14 has three side faces on which piezoelectric elements 16a, 16b and 16c are bonded at the center thereof. To the oscillator 12, the central parts of two U-shaped supporting members 22a, 22b are bonded in the vicinity of the node part. The both ends of supporting member 22a, 22b are bonded to a rectangular fixing member 24 made of an insulating material, for example. The fixing member 24 is fixed to one end side of a circuit board 34 spreading along a plane which is in parallel with the central axis of the oscillator 12 and the bending direction thereof. An oscillation circuit 40, a synchronism detection circuit 42, a DC amplifier circuit 44, and other circuits and components are mounted on the inside of bases 38 formed on the opposite major surfaces of the circuit board 34. |
