CAPILLARY ELECTROPHORESIS/MASS SPECTROMETER

PURPOSE:To enlarge an application range of a capillary electrophoresis/mass spectrometer by making it possible to analyze a neutral sample without having electric charges in a solution and use various kinds of buffer solutions. CONSTITUTION:A sample solution separated in a capillary electrophoresis part 18 is atomized at an atomizing part 19 and then heated and gasified at a gasifying part 20. The obtained gaseous sample molecules are ionized at a chemical inorizing part 21 equipped with a corona discharge part through a chemical reaction by adding protons or the like. The generated ions related to the sample molecules are introduced into a vacuum chamber from an ion introduction small hole 10a and analyzed at a mass-spectrometric part 14 and an ion detector 15.
