PURPOSE: To provide a suture anchor by cutting an injection-molded material into a squared shape for anchoring a suture in a wedge shape using a bore for imparting an eccentric tensile strain to the suture. CONSTITUTION: A wedge-shaped suture anchor 1 is molded by injection to have a squared edge and a bonding wall for firmly securing the suture anchor to the inside of the bore. An install means for the wedge-shaped suture anchor is provided to hold at a thin and weak portion 7 the wedge-shaped suture anchor 1. When insertion is completed, the weak portion 7 will break up to allow other portions than the suture anchor 1 to be removed.
