<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor which improves the efficiency of data transfer while keeping costs low. <P>SOLUTION: When a notice of an error is received from a printer 30 through a communication interface part 26 and a state is restored that image data corresponding to the next and succeeding images following the final image among the images formed on a paper sheet already discharged from the printer 30 are stored as much as they can be stored on an image buffer 23 controlled by a buffer control part 24, data restoration processing is performed in an image processing part 25 so as to minimize the image data required to be received again from a RIP 10 through the communication interface part 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
