<p>The fixed or movable balustrade assembly consists of vertical bars (1) and at least two horizontal rails (2). At least one of the rails is made from two members, fitted together face to face. The two members of the horizontal rails are joined together and to the vertical bars by brackets (6). Each bracket has two jaws (8, 11) which grip the rail members when a screw (14) passing through them is tightened. The jaw (11) situated between the horizontal rail and vertical bar has teeth (13,13') projecting from both sides to grip the upper surface of the rail members and the lower surface of the vertical bar.</p> |
