Variable timing valve drive for motor vehicle internal combustion engine

The variable timing valve drive has two driven camshafts. The opening and closing movement of each valve over a cam of each or both camshafts is actuated via a gear wheel drive. The gear wheel drive can be a planetary drive with a fixed hollow gear (6) between the driven and driving sides which is actuated to vary the relative rotary positions of the camshafts. The hollow gear can be coupled to a sun gear (3) via a planetary gear (4).
