PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily prepare a hologram for reproducing a three-dimensional (3D) image without limiting the size of the 3D image to be reproduced, the size of the hologram or reference light at the time of reproduction. SOLUTION: A controller calculates a 3D interference pattern for generating reproducing light corresponding to the desired 3D image when a recording medium 1 is irradiated with the reference light for reproduction, this 3D interference pattern is divided into partial interference patterns and concerning each partial interference pattern, the controller calculates reference light at the time of recording and information light at the time of recording. Next, the recording medium 1 is conveyed, the recording medium 1 is irradiated with the reference light at the time of recording and the information light at the time of recording by a head 10 while changing the relative position relation of the recording medium 1 and the head 10, partial holograms are successively formed and the final hologram is prepared. |
