PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which properly carries out image formation on various recording mediums. SOLUTION: Light is emitted to the recording medium 390, amounts of the light of two polarization elements of the reflected light are each detected, and the properties of the surface of the recording medium 390 are judged. Based on the result of the judgment, high-voltage output by a transfer high-voltage supply part 1020 is properly controlled to form images. |
