PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently utilize an electronic mail without having unpleasant feeling by providing a character mail function that transmits and receives a character mail, comparing a sending source address of the character mail with a registered reject address and providing a means that rejects the receiving of the character mail when they coincide. SOLUTION: A controlling part 12 controls a transmitting and receiving circuit 10 and each part according to a program stored in a ROM 14 and sends an electronic mail of a character message inputted and received by a key 24 or stores it in a RAM 16. Also, when the part 12 registers a mail address that is not desired to be received as a reject address on the RAM 16, it automatically rejects the receiving of an electronic mail of the reject address at the time of receiving it. An LCD driver 18 reads a character, a numeric number and a graphic pattern which correspond to a control signal from the part 12 from a font ROM 22 and shows a received electronic mail on a displaying part 22. Thus, a user can prevent a malicious mail and select only needed information. |
