PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric oscillator in which the temperature change of oscillation characteristics due to an adhesive layer can be reduced, and a method for manufacturing this. SOLUTION: A piezoelectric oscillator 10 is constituted by adhering a piezoelectric element 14 on the side face of an oscillating piece 12. Grooves 20 are formed by dicer or the like on the adhesive face of the piezoelectric element 14 faced to the oscillating piece 12. Then, adhesive is uniformly applied to the face on which the grooves 20 are formed in prescribed thickness. Then, the face to which the adhesive is applied is placed on the oscillating piece 12. Moreover, the piezoelectric element 14 is pressurized to the oscillating piece 12. Then, one part of the adhesive is allowed to flow into the grooves 20. Afterwards, the adhesive is hardened so that an adhesive layer 24' can be formed. |
