PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of a remote control transmitter by reducing the number keys. SOLUTION: A remote control transmitter 50 contains a combined key (channel selection key) 53 which can be selected for two operations by means of shift keys (selection keys) 55L and 55R as an operation key. Consequently, an easily visible key arrangement can be provided for users, because the number of operation keys can be reduced and all keys can be arranged on the surface of the main body of the transmitter. In addition, the operability of the transmitter 50 is improved, because the complicated lid opening/closing operations which are required in the conventional example become unnecessary and the transmitter 50 can be operated easily by left hand and also by right hand as well.
