<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and surely record/reproduce information under recording/reproducing conditions (e.g., tracking polarity, recording pulse strategy, recommended power for recording and the like) according to each recording layer in a one side incident type optical recording medium having a plurality of recording layers. <P>SOLUTION: A control section reads the recording/reproducing conditions of each recording layer recorded on an optical recording medium having a plurality of recording layers in/from which information is recorded/reproduced by irradiation of a laser light from one side (recording/reproducing condition reading step), and executes control so as to record/reproduce information on each recording layer based on the recording/reproducing conditions thereof (recording/reproducing control step). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
