PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the efficient washing of a tableware washing machine with conserved energy by selectively disposing a cleaning course having a washing stage and a rising stage for carrying out at least two times of rinsing and washing operations. SOLUTION: This tableware washing machine is provided with three times of the washing stage for carrying out washing by feeding a washing tank detergent, such as citric acid, into the washing tank and the rinsing stage for draining the contaminated washing water and rinsing the washing tank, and the like. The respective stages are composed of draining, water feeding and washing operations and the cleaning course is ended by executing the final draining after the final rinsing stage. The tableware washing machine is provided with the cleaning course optimized for the washing of the washing tank, or the like, by which the washing of the tableware washing machine body with the conserved energy is made possible. In addition, at least two times of the rinsing and washing operations are carried out and, therefore, the contamination components and detergent components in the washing tank may be surely rinsed and be discharged outside the machine, by which the high rinsing performance is obtained, the tableware washing machine is maintained always clean and the tableware is washed and finished to an always clean and hygienic state.
