PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To vibrate a vibrator always in a resonance state at a fixed vibration amplitude to stabilize the detecting sensitivity of the angular velocity. SOLUTION: A displacement signal VB outputted through a displacement detector 14 and a capacitance-voltage converter circuit 21 is inputted to a feedback phase shifter 22, the shifter 22 outputs a correction signal VC to an AGC 27 so that a phase difference of the signal VB from a drive signal VA is approximately -90 deg., and a feedback amplifier 24 controls the amplitude of the drive signal VA so that the vibration amplitude of a vibrator 6 is constant and outputs the drive signal VA to a vibration generator 13 whereby the vibrator 6 can be vibrated in a resonance state at a fixed vibration amplitude to stabilize the detection sensitivity of the angular velocity even when the ambient temp. changes. |
