PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication error decision device which can easily and quickly discover a time of occurrence and a cause of a communication error by outputting a signal indicating the occurrence of the communication error without interrupting the communication as soon as it is discriminated that the error occurs. SOLUTION: An error signal output port 36 is connected to a computer measuring instrument 20, and it is detected that a communication error occurs by detecting a change in voltage of the error signal output port 36 in the computer measuring instrument 20. When the communication error occurs, an ON signal is given to a transistor Tr1 by a CPU 31 the moment it occurs and, as a result of this, the voltage of the error signal output port 36 reaches a level H and it is displayed that the communication error occurs. Then, when there is a request that information of the communication error should be transmitted to a microcomputer 30, the CPU 31 transmits a code indicating a communicated party held in an error information area of an RAM 32. |
