PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a room air conditioner wherein a heat exchanger installed in limited unit dimensions can be provided with an increased front mounting area. SOLUTION: The air conditioner comprises the heat exchanger, a grill provided upstream of the heat exchanger, a fan installed downstream of the heat exchanger, and a diffusing casing for guiding air passing through the heat exchanger to an outlet, all of which are built in. An electric component box is provided downstream of the heat exchanger above the fan. |
