MOUNTING STRUCTURE OF HYDRAULIC DAMPER IN SUSPENSION OF VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a hydraulic damper capable of shortening a length in an axial direction by separating a holding function in the axial direction of a damper mount and a holding function in a diameter direction orthogonal to the axis. SOLUTION: The mounting structure 1 of the hydraulic damper 6 includes a first rubber 26 for receiving a load of the hydraulic damper 6 in the axial direction arranged between a dust cover 19 for forming an end part in the axial direction of the hydraulic damper 6 and a mounting board 30 on a car body side, and a second rubber 27 for receiving a load in the diameter direction orthogonal to the axis arranged between an outer peripheral surface 21 of the dust cover 19 which forms an outermost peripheral part of the hydraulic damper 6 and a bracket 33 on the car body side. Because a length in the axial direction can be shortened by the second rubber 27, a length of a whole damper assembly formed of the hydraulic damper 6 and the damper mount 25 can be shortened.
