PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a substrate mounting area, to use a common substrate and a TCP(Tape Carrier Package) even though the resolution and the number of gradation voltages are made different for a color liquid crystal display and to economically constitute a substrate, a TCP and a display device. SOLUTION: In the drive circuit of a color liquid crystal display, a data electrode drive circuit 22 generates gradation voltages VR0 to VR17, VG0 to VG17 and VB0 to VB17 corresponding to the gradation voltage characteristics, based on serial data SDATA which are made of gradation information A5 to A0 and gradation voltage information D7 to D0 being supplied from a control circuit 21.
