The plastic deformation technique for metal sheets comprises application of two corrugated press elements (3,3',3'',4.4',4'') to the sheet (1). Also claimed is apparatus implementing the process. The apparatus has the press elements then re-applied after turning the sheet (1), at right angles to the initial pressing direction, with a total of eight pressing operations in succession.
