<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk wherein error loading is recognized when the optical disk is loaded in the direction reverse to a regular direction. <P>SOLUTION: When the optical disk formed by vapor depositing reflection layers 3 and 4 on substrates 2 and 5 of a polycarbonate or the like, sticking the substrates 2 and 5 so that the reflection layers 3 and 4 are opposed to each other via an adhesive layer and sticking a label 6 whose annular transparent region lacks to the substrate 5 is loaded in the direction reverse to the regular direction, an optical beam for reproduction reaches the reflection layer 4 and a reflection signal is reproduced.
