<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-priced color image forming apparatus in which an image carrier can be used for respective colors in the same period. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus where a plurality of electrophotographic image forming stations respectively equipped with the image carrier coping with a plurality of developing colors including black, an electrifying device, an exposure device, a developing device, a transfer device and a cleaning device are juxtaposed in a paper carrying direction, is characterized in that the blending ratio of binder resin to charge transporting material in the charge transporting layer of the image carrier for black is set to be higher than that of the binder resin to the charge transporting material in the one for other developing colors. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
