<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a health supplement using a fucoidan raw material having good extraction efficiency and pharmacological effects such as anticholesterol action, blood clarifying action, anticancer action and antiviral action and having good taste. <P>SOLUTION: The health supplement comprises (a) a fucoidan extract obtained from a seaweed belonging to the genus Eucheuma and/or the genus Ceramium of the class Rhodophyta, (b) a brown sugar and (c) at least one kind of material selected from a vegetable oil, an edible acid and a calcium-containing material.
