<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device with excellent workability of attaching and detaching a light source unit to/from a case body and high positioning accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: The light source device is provided with the case body 10 and the light source unit 20 freely attachable and detachable to/from the case body 10. The case body 10 is provided with first locking members 30 and 32 for performing positioning relating to the direction X of inserting or discharging the light source unit 20 and a first energizing member for energizing the light source unit 20 to the first locking members 30 and 32. Similarly, the case body 10 is provided with second locking members 40 and 42 and second energizing members 44 and 46 for positioning the light source unit 20 relating to the direction Y and third locking members 50 and 52 and third energizing members 54 and 56 for positioning the light source unit 20 relating to the direction Z.
