METHOD OF PROCESSING NATIVE LANGUAGE INTERNET ADDRESS AND STORAGE MEDIUM OF STORING PROGRAM EXECUTING THE SAME

A method for processing a vernacular Internet address and a recording medium which records a program for executing the same are provided to enable all computers of a connected local network to perform vernacular address processing without a special measure even if there is only one computer capable of the vernacular address processing in the local network. A method for processing a vernacular Internet address comprises: receiving a query message, including a character string from a first client terminal transmitted via a local network connected to plural client terminals, in a second client terminal(S105); analyzing the query message and deciding whether to process the query message if the query message is directed to the local network as a destination(S106); determining whether the character string is a vernacular Internet address(S107); and if so, transmitting a response message, including an Internet address of a vernacular Internet address processing server, to the first client terminal(S109).
