An apparatus for practicing putting is provided to express whether putting is successful through a main controller, and to perform putting exercise for a long distance as well as putting exercise for a short distance. An apparatus for practicing putting includes a hole cup assembly(120), an upper case(140), a plane touch sensor(160), a putting mat(180) and a main operating portion(100). The upper case forms a retrieving structure that is connected to penetrate a connection path of the hole cup assembly, and has plural sensor brackets. The plane touch sensor is placed on the sensor bracket, and detects contact coordinates corresponding to the position that comes into contact with a ball. The putting mat forms a jump portion that is higher than a support portion. The main operating portion outputs computed results by calculating a first detection value about flying distance of a golf ball, a second detection value about distance between a hole cup and a golf ball, a third detection value about a moving direction and displays the results through sound and picture.
