<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for estimating genetic interaction capable of estimating genetic interaction highly precisely while using a DNA microarray. <P>SOLUTION: The method for estimating genetic interaction is performed by fusing three independent estimation methods, first filtering processing using correlation of expression data, second filtering processing to be a totally new method for estimating a binding site, and third filtering processing using the gene expression data with experimentation operation added thereto. As the second filtering processing, with respect to a pair of a gene (a) and a gene (b) of a group of genes B to be the prescribed number of higher order genes in which an absolute value of correlation coefficient with the gene (a) is large, window similarity to be a sum of similarities at each position when a maximum value of the similarity of character strings of a prescribed length (k) which have approximate starting positions included in the windows is defined as the similarity at the position is calculated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
