STEERING APPARATUS OF MOTOR VEHICLE HAVING RACK BAR OF GEAR RATIO COMBINATION TYPE AND PINION GEAR

A steering apparatus for a vehicle equipped with a gear ratio combination type rack bar and a pinion gear is provide to differentiate the volume of a rack bar according to rotation of a pinion gear by forming two gear ratios. A steering apparatus for a vehicle using a rack pinion type comprises as follows. A gear ratio combination type rack bar(300) is equipped with a first rack gear(310) having tooth intervals and a second rack gear(320) formed on left and right sides of the first rack gear, which has regular tooth intervals being larger than the tooth interval. A pinion gear is equipped with different types of gear teeth to engage the first rack gear with the second rack gear.
