A plasma display device is provided to prevent an erroneous discharge due to the temperature of a PDP by regulating voltage of a sustain signal based on the temperature of the PDP. A plasma display device includes a PDP(Plasma Display Panel,100), a temperature sensor(110), and a driving unit(120). The PDP includes first and second electrodes, which are parallel to each other. The temperature sensor detects a temperature of the PDP and outputs a temperature information signal. The driving unit receives the temperature information signal from the temperature sensor. When the temperature of the PDP is lower than a reference temperature, the driving unit clamps a first sustain signal, which is supplied to at least one of the first and second electrodes, at a first clamping timing. When the temperature of the PDP is higher than the reference temperature, the driving unit clamps a second sustain signal, which is supplied to at least one of the first and second electrodes, at a second clamping timing. The second clamping timing is different from the first clamping timing. |
