<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell with a strong stack structure having a stacked body made up of ceramic and metal firmly joined to each other, and a joint part between the ceramic and the metal. <P>SOLUTION: The stacked body 1 is formed by joining a ceramic molded body 11 (made of ScSZ or the like) and a heat-resistant alloy molded body 12 (made of 430 S/S or the like) to each other with a joining material (containing Ag, Pd, and a small amount of Ti). The fuel cell is made up of a plurality of stacked single cells. Each single cell comprises: a solid electrolyte layer (made of ScSZ or the like); a power generation layer having a fuel electrode (made of Ni and ScSZ or the like) and an air electrode (made of a composite oxide containing La, Mn, or the like); an isolation separator made of a heat-resistant alloy (made of 430 S/S or the like); and a frame made of an insulating ceramic (made of MgO-MgAl<SB>2</SB>O<SB>4</SB>or the like).
