A support for a gas range is provided to enhance heating efficiency of the gas range by accommodating a burner in a state the support is loaded into the gas range. A support(100) for a gas range(1) comprises a supporting part(110) installed on a cover(11) of the gas range, a body mounted on the supporting part to support a pot, a heat-resistant glass tube(130) of covering the body and a housing(140). The housing is installed at an upper part of the body to cover the heat-resistant glass tube. The supporting part is provided in a tube shape including an upper hole(111), a lower hole(113) larger than the upper hole and a through hole(115) formed at a side of the supporting part. The body includes an outer casing(121) inserted into the upper hole, an inner casing(127), a connection bar(129) attached to the inner and outer casings and through holes(128,125) formed on the inner casing and the outer casing, respectively. The housing includes a ring(141) of covering the heat-resistant glass tube and the outer casing, a projection(143) formed at a lower surface of the ring and a net(145) formed inside the ring.
