An audio control device and method are provided to store and manage gain and noise control information according to user condition and automatically perform audio control which is suitable for the inherent characteristic of the user. An audio control method comprises a step of confirming user condition which is selectively inputted by user(S13), a step of searching gain noise control information corresponding to the confirmed user condition(S14), and a step of performing audio gain and noise decrease control according to the searched gain and noise control information, and detected peripheral noise(S17).
