The drive unit has a steering motor (5) with a stator (4) and a traction motor (2) with a stator (1), which are coaxially arranged to each other. The stator of the steering motor and the stator of the traction motor are connected with each other by a circular connection part (3). The circular connection part is made of an electrically non conductive material, e.g. copper punching scrap.
