<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve pressure resistant strength and productivity of a flexible hose, in the flexible hose having a hose body composed of a bellows pipe or a spiral pipe, a blade for covering the hose body and a fixing metal fitting for covering the blade in an end part in the pipe axis direction. <P>SOLUTION: The blade 6 formed by knitting a plurality of linear members 18 is fitted around the hose body 4, and a bending part 20 is formed in the blade 6 by bending the end part in the pipe axis direction of the blade 6 inside in the radial direction, and the fixing metal fitting 8 is fitted around the blade 6 in a part for covering the end part in the pipe axis direction of the hose body 4.
