PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device suppressing decrease in the efficiency of power supply to a heating rotor.SOLUTION: A fixing device (40) comprises: a power supply member (81) electrically connected to a power supply circuit (79); a fixing belt (100) heating a toner image (T) on a sheet (P) in a nip part and including a heat generating layer (102) heated by power supply and an electrode part (106) slidably coming into contact with the power supply member to electrically connect with it, in an outer peripheral surface of one end side of the belt in a width direction; a roller (110) forming the nip part between the belt and the roller; and a cover member (82) covering the one end side of the belt in the width direction so as to prevent toner from moving from a space on the side of the nip part to a space on the side of the electrode part and provided with a gap that can be basically insulated between a lower cover part 82B and the electrode part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
