PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capturing fence for a drifting object that suppresses corrosion inside a steel pipe column without providing anticorrosion treatment, thus preventing depletion of the steel pipe column over a long period and enabling the capturing fence for a drifting object to demonstrate capturing performance over a long period.SOLUTION: A capturing fence for a drifting object has a wire rope 41 spanned between steel pipe columns 3 erected leaving an interval. The steel pipe column 3 has first through-holes 35 formed to face each other, a first sheath pipe 32 spanned continuously between the first through-holes 35, second through-holes 36 formed to face each other at a height that does not overlap with the first through-holes 35, and a second sheath pipe 33 spanned continuously between the second through-holes 36. The first sheath pipe 32 and the second sheath pipe 33 are arranged to intersect with each other when seen in a planar view, and have the wire rope 41 inserted therethrough via each of the through-holes 35, 36.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
